Lactation and Tongue-tie care
We are so thankful that we came across Melanie. Our son had a pretty significant tongue and lip tie. We had both of these ties revised and he is now such a happy, healthy baby! Melanie took her time to explain things in depth and address any questions that we had about anything and trust me as first-time parents we had lots! Other professionals that we had seen seemed to write it off, so we cannot thank Melanie enough for hearing us out. I highly recommend Beyond Birth ABQ to any families experiencing a tongue tie. We had a very hard and emotional journey due to my son's tongue tie being missed at birth and having to end my breastfeeding journey before it began. Melanie was highly knowledgeable, thorough, and kind through the whole process. Before his release my 10 month old son couldn't eat anything other than formula and purees without choking. Three weeks after the procedure he is eating meatloaf, fried rice and finger foods. He's like a different baby! We are so appreciative of all the help and professionalism we received. (May 2023)
Melanie is amazing! I’m so glad the dentist I called first didn’t pickup. My son had a severe tongue, lip and cheek ties and nursing was very painful. We had our first appointment on his 5th day, got his ties corrected on his 8th day, and had 3 amazing follow up appointments that were invaluable. If you’re going to get your baby’s tongue tie corrected, definitely go to Melanie! She also sells delicious local eggs and honey, her backyard is a garden paradise! (November 2023)
